2023 Art School Debt: Are Student Loans Worth it?
I missed that when I visited the Huntington in February 2024. I was thrilled to visit a museum. Was underwhelmed by how this Southern California art icon needs interactive updating -- which it appeared to me was in progress under new/newish director -- hopefully.
❤😊
There's a lot of scary stuff in a print shop. Someone needs to write a murder mystery set in a print shop. 🙃
The way she said “its a little monkey family!” 😂😂😂
I didn't for a second think it was ink. Because I read the caption first thing.
I don’t like it.
Um...DON'T TOUCH. This is not a petting zoo. 🙄🤬
I personally would have done another silicon layer ^^
Velveeta
100% should have yelled at her. People not showing respect to art has cost the world pricless amounts of money, and a priceless ount of history. Due to lack of consideration for the past.
I have many different Naples yellow in oils (w&n, Williamsburg, old holland, Holbein and each make at least two variations) Making a color swatch sheet above my desk has helped tremendously in picking which Naples I need.
Your videos have been so valuable. I used to be one of those people who wanted to skip learning about the skeleton and get right to the muscles, but seeing how it all interconnects gave me a different viewpoint. I also like the use of symbols for different muscles and bones like the tie and the fan, really helps with visualizing everything.
I think it's great that everyone has there own techniques for painting. I didn't go to school and I am self taught so some of the learned techniques are odd to me.
Rodin was her inspiration 😮 I love her, but your thought process it totally on point ...hard to her her back story... I love your art and your insight!
I love it! The wire around the tools is a really cool idea:)
The monkeys also looked soft and kind of fuzzy. You should have yelled!
Oh my god. . . . how could she? If I were there, I would yell "SECURITY!" Even though I might be consodered a Karen, I'd still do it.
Some things are just priceless, NEVER SELL IT!!!
Thanks!
Okay, this is the best random video press I had yet. This seems so much fun playing around and making a mess!
You keep that book!!!!!! The money is beside the point. ❤
This is a totally amazing video-i need to share it with my students :)
It’s not much better in watercolor either
I'd have difficulties about letting it go as well !! Never too late to sell later in life when in need for money or in bad health...right ? 😆
Yeah where's your STUFFFFF
Sir, i thought my friend had the most expensive art book (a Beth Cavendish). Clearly i was wrong. Never sell!!!
So cool
This is what gets me about collecting, prices go up but I’m not planning on selling so not gonna see any of that money anyway
is there any way you could upload scans of this book on to the interner archive? this is such an amazing find and so so valuable!
Jordan, come on! This stuff is amazing. You don't want it all discovered after you die. Show it!
I have a book I bought for $20 in 2019, last I checked it was going for $250. I'm not selling it because I like it.
Jordan, Clara travelled all that way. You better start listening. You know she is right.
They look so good.
I wish you guys made longer videos. I want to eat this up in long format!
I became interested in her sad story after seeing a movie about her. I was able to see her work at the Rodin Museum in Paris in 2005, but there are very few of her pieces exhibited there.
Why is your face that close to the camera?
Ive seen that anime countless times. I’d never ever sell it
I just purchased "Art" by Rodin in hardback, copyright 1928 (originally published in 1912) for a quarter at my library. Excellent condition with glassine-like paper over every black and white photo.
I have an August Rodin!!
Don’t you just want to touch it? I have paintings and various works, in a range of completeness, all over my studio… it amazes me how many people want to touch. It doesn’t bother me… especially kids. The looks on their faces are worth it!
Very cool that she has her own show!
You can always get $1000. Who knows if you could get that book. That artwork is amazing
Im still newish to the channel where can I find Jordan's streams? 😅
On his channel! youtube.com/@thejomcfoshow?si=vHUxxBcg6mwgg0N9 -Prof Lieu
Consider yourself peer pressured. Do it!
Release it!!!
I don't hate my art. Other people hate my art which then changes my mind about my art.
Jordannnnn! We know you’re hiding your amazing stuff!! Show us the stuff!!!!
I’m dealing with that too Jordan. ❤
In india there are many temples and structures with intricate designs made whole structure from a single big Rock mountain by using primitive tools thousands of years ago.
Jordaaaaan !! Where is your stuuuuuuff ?!! 😉😉🤭😄😍😍👌👌
